Servicing has been carried out at Just Autos for longer than what we have been doing performance work, we have a fully set up workshop for any service needs.
With a wide range of tooling and combined knowledge of over 8 qualified mechanics & 3 auto electricians we can carry out all your general services, logbook services, pre-trip inspections, pre buy inspections & most things in between.
We also have options for large fleet maintenance, and we are already approved fleet maintenance providers for a wide variety of maintenance controllers.
WARRANTY
What is Log-Book servicing, and can we do it?
Logbook servicing is the set maintenance schedule and repairs set out by the manufacture to retain warranty however this isn’t everything that may require doing depending on driving conditions.
Can you service my fleet vehicle?

Do you provide Roadworthy Certificates?
Just Autos is an approved inspection station and can carry out Road worthy inspections and defect clearance
Do you do auto electrical repairs?
Just Autos has 3 qualified Auto electricians on board, but we don’t specialise in auto electrics and if a problem requires a specialist, we will advise it may be better to take it directly to a auto electrician specialised in that area
Will my warranty cover my car repairs?
Warranty is provided by the dealership and warranty repairs and recalls can only be carried out by the dealership
To maintain my warranty, do I have to use my dealer for scheduled maintenance and repairs?
To retain warranty with your dealer the logbook services schedule will have to be followed and logbooks filled out correctly. Even if you haven’t reached the designated kilometres the dealers set time frame ie. 6 months intervals will still have to be adhered to.
My car includes fixed price servicing. Is that a good thing?
Fixed price services is good because you always know what you are going to pay but may not be the best option for you, most vehicle get driven is harsh conditions which require extra maintenance which is not covered in your fixed price services and may be looked over. At Just autos we carry out a full vehicle inspection from bumper to bumper regardless of kilometres or timeframe, so you know your vehicle is being taken care of 100%

How soon can I get the car back? How long will it take you to fix my car?
We recommend leaving your vehicle with us for the day just in case any extra maintenance is required, however if you are on a strict time frame most vehicle services can take up to 2 hours and customer are more than welcome to wait for vehicles.
What time should I drop off my car?
Most vehicles will get dropped off between 7:30-8:00 but can be dropped off at anytime as long as we have the adequate time to complete the repairs or maintenance required.

MAINTENANCE
How should you care for cars not driven for extended periods of time?
Vehicles are designed to be driven regularly and maintained regularly to prevent any issues occurring, Common rail diesel vehicles will need to be driven regularly as Australia has a high sulphur content in our diesel and can wear injectors prematurely if not driven regularly.
How often do I really need to have my oil changed?
Depending on the grade of oil and specification most oil requires to be changed every 10,000km or 6 months due to the combustion process and high heat causing the oil to deteriorate oil over this period
However, oil may need to be changed more regularly then stated by manufactures due to high stress situations and harsh conditions, we recommend speaking to one of our highly qualified staff members to see how often your vehicle will need to be serviced.
Why rotate your tyres and how often?
Tyre rotation will usually occur every 10,000km depending on how the tyre is wearing, we recommend getting regular checks to avoid uneven wear and premature tyre wear so that you get the most life out of your tyres.
What is a cabin air filter and why change it?
Cabin filter are a common filter overlooked by many mechanics and service centres, this filter is usually hidden in behind your glove box and filters all the incoming air for your vehicle air conditioning system and can build up heavily with dust, leaves, dirt and much more which can affect how well your air conditioning works and can sometimes leave the vehicle smelling mouldy and dusty.

How often should I replace my fuel filter?
Common rail diesel vehicles require their fuel filter to be replaced regularly and, in some cases, an extra filter is needed to avoid costly repairs due to contamination.

How much will it cost?
Vehicle service prices may vary depending on service intervals and size of engine and type of vehicle but an average price for basic service can look something like this

Diesel
- 4cyl diesel vehicle $290-$320
- 6cyl diesel vehicle $340-$380
- 8cly diesel vehicle $380-$450
How long will it take you to do a quote on my car?
Most vehicle quotes can be done up while talking to one of our staff members on the phone, however some of the larger quotes may take some time to do up. Our staff members have a lot of knowledge on service intervals but will not know what is carried out during every logbook service which may take some time/research to work out.
Do you have a payment plan for servicing?
Unfortunately, we do not provide payment plans for vehicle services
Will I know how much my car service or repair will cost me before I get the bill?
Before any extra work is carried out one of our staff members will ring you regarding costings and timeframes to complete vehicles and will get authorisation before carrying out any extra work
Do I have to pay on the day of the job and how can I pay?
Invoicing will have to be paid in full on the day before the vehicle is collected, we accept most forms of transactions including, cash, eftpos and most credit cards (however credit cards will attract a surcharge designated by the bank)

What should I do if the alternator light comes on?
Alternator lights usually come on when the vehicles alternator system has stopped charging and required to be fixed ASAP. They can also come up if the vehicles drive belt has come off or broken which stops the alternator from spinning, but this belt may operate other system fitted to the vehicle most importantly the water pump. We recommend stopping and getting the vehicle towed is this light ever comes on.
What does it mean if the check engine light stays on but there is no noticeable problem?
Check engine lights usually come up when a fault is detected or a vehicle fitted sensor has had a fault, vehicles can still be driven with the engine light on but recommend getting them check ASAP to prevent any further damage.
What’s that noise? What’s wrong with my car? Do you think it could be the…?
We are good mechanics, but we are not psychic if you have a weird noise or a problem with your car that you haven’t been able to figure out or good old google hasn’t produced the goods. Ring one of our qualified staff member to book you in to carry out a diagnostic
What do I do about an overheating engine?
If your vehicle is overheating or acting abnormally, we recommend getting this checked out straight away as this may cause extensive damage if this problem continues
Why are my brakes making noise?
Brakes can make noises for many reasons, the main one is brake squealing which can be cause by the wear indicator on the brake pad reaching its limit and touching on the rotors causing the vehicle to squeal every time it you depress the brake pedal
Will it damage my engine if I continue to drive my car when the check engine light is on?
Depending on the issues it may cause further damage, engine lights can come on for over 1000 reasons and can be caused by many situations.
